If your postcode is between 28 and 30 miles from SN7 7SS, the calendar will still show you available dates — but we calculate distance using your full postcode centroid (not the area average). A postcode that looks “in” on the area map can sit just over the line on the centroid, and vice versa. Don’t guess — our booking form checks your exact postcode in real time.
Outside 30 miles?
We deliberately don’t quote outside the 30-mile circle. It would mean longer days, higher costs, and worse availability for inside-the-circle customers. The flat-rate model only works because of the geographic discipline. If you’re outside and want to be told when we extend, email bookings@faringdonremovals.co.uk with your postcode.
Why 30 miles, not 50 or 100?
One trailer, one driver, one day. A 30-mile radius means we can deliver at 9am, collect at 6pm, and the driver still gets home for tea. Stretch that and you start needing 6am starts, fuel surcharges, or two-day jobs at premium prices. The whole flat-rate model is built on the 30-mile number. We’d rather say “no” honestly to a postcode 45 miles away than say “yes” expensively.
